The Delegates Assembly is the representative body of N.I.G member unions
The Delegates Assembly is made up of four representatives from each member union
Each member union determines how to select its delegates to represent them at every Assembly
The Delegates Assembly has the power to deliberate on all issues that affect or have the potential of affecting the Ndi-Igbo Germany in general, individual member unions or group of members
The Delegates Assembly has the power to pass resolutions for the realization of the objectives of the association
The Delegates Assembly has the power to elect the officers of the Executive Council in accordance to N.I.G constitution and to determine the time and venue of the general congress
The Delegates Assembly considers the recommendations of the Board of Trustees (BOT) and pass resolution to that effect
The Delegates Assembly also set in motion a dispute resolution mechanism to resolve any disputes that may arise between member unions
The Delegates Assembly approves bylaws and annual budget of the NIG
